Also a mystery weed

In a different corner of the yard is this thing, it lives in a mostly shady spot, only getting late afternoon sun.

Right now its between 2 and 3 feet tall:




Has small white flowers with yellow centers:




And fairly large leaves that are long and skinny:



Anyone know what it is and if it has eatability?
